  1. I did A LOT of research in choosing a bank. I went with lendingclub largely because of reviews praising its customer service; yours called it “stellar”. My experience of “customer service” at LCB has been ABYSMAL. Reps seem to be uninformed, and/or their hands are tied by nonsensical, inconsistent, and capricious policies / practices of the bank. Pending deposits don’t show up in the account (as pending) for several days, pending transfers don’t show – there is no such tab. LCB pre-approved, approved, denied, then re-approved my mobile deposit (all on the date in which I made the deposit). Three weeks later, they voided my external transfer of a % of those funds, demanding additional documentation pertaining to my prior deposit. I refused. Available funds. Transfer limit. These are contracts that I need to be able to “take to the bank”. The bank then locked me out of my account. I saw another complaint detailing LCB locking a customer’s account access in what sounded like similar circumstances.
