2022 List of South Carolina Second Chance Checking Accounts

South Carolina residents living without a bank account are paying more to cash checks, pay bills and are not able to save for the future. ChexSystems or bad credit has hindered a large number of Americans from having access to traditional checking or savings accounts. Fortunately for the citizens of South Carolina there are several banks offering second chance accounts and even South Carolina non-ChexSystems banks.

A negative ChexSystems record can remain 5 years unless you successfully dispute ChexSystems to get it deleted. For consumers with an EWS record, it can last for 7 years unless you’re able to successfully dispute EWS.

Check out our list of second chance checking accounts in South Carolina. Many second chance bank accounts run a ChexSystems report.

If your ChexSystems record has unpaid debt, consider options at banks that don’t use ChexSystems or bank accounts for bad credit.
