Texas Second Chance Checking Accounts

Second chance checking accounts in Texas give people with ChexSystems records an opportunity to open a traditional checking account.

Texas has multiple banks that offer second chance checking accounts for consumers with past banking issues.

According to a 2019 FDIC Unbanked Survey, 7.7% of people in Texas are unbanked.

There’s a high cost for living outside the banking system. For example, check-cashing companies charge their customers between 1 and 12 percent of a check’s value.

Traditional banking is not only convenient but can save you money. Check out our list of second chance checking accounts in Texas. Many second chance bank accounts run a ChexSystems report.

If your ChexSystems record has unpaid debt, consider options at banks that don’t use ChexSystems or bank accounts for bad credit.
